My small ink and gouache drawings and paintings felt too limited, so I began working with composite oil panel clusters and narrative vignettes floating on single pages. These started small and were shown at the Saidye Bronfman Centre in Montreal (1997), then larger works were shown in Toronto at Mercer Union (1999) and Gallery MacDonnell (2001) and Agnes Etherington in Kingston.
